"Every media era gets the fabulists it deserves." Even established news media have likely already published reams of AI-generated content which convincingly mimicks what actual stories and quotes would sound like, and takes advantage of a degraded media environment "uniquely susceptible to fraud".

Lijkt een beetje op de verandering in VVD resulaten tussen 2017 en 2021 ⏬ , in de zin dat de partij terrein verloor in welvarend Holland en won in de periferie. (Wel heel anders in het zuiden.)

For decades, left-wing parties got 35%-40% of the Dutch vote.
If you included D66 etc, it was even 40-50%. Never quite a majority, but close.
Now, left-wing parties got less than 20%.
Even if you include the victorious D66, it's less than 40%: the third-worst result since 1967.
