While I post @allvirtualboygames.djcube.co.uk and @allgamecubegames.djcube.co.uk, I will be moving on to looking at N64 box art on this account. I'll mainly be looking at Europe, North America and Japan with the occasional extra ones (Australia boxes are just NA or EU boxes, seemingly at random).
Rally Challenge 2000

The Japanese Box (Rally '99) has three rally cars on a cloud with a sky behind them.

the NA box Shows a muddy wing mirror of a muddy rally car with another rally car visible in the mirror. It's actually quite stylish.

Hybrid Heaven

The box shows six people standing in the foreground with three faces in the background. Each region has a slightly different layout.

It's so generic - it doesn't really get across that this is a tactical turn based wrestling RPG involving an alien invasion of Earth.

The New Tetris

The box features Tetris being played on four sections of a large fence/gate in front of a Russian palace. It looks quite incredible.

Monster Truck Madness 64

The box has a badly cut out image of a monster truck with some blur effects added and a chequered flag straight from ClipArt.
November 12, 2025 at 8:30 AM
In-Fisherman Bass Hunter 64

The box shows a bass fish about to bite a lure. The European box is much more zoomed in.

Let’s Go By Train 64 / Densha de Go! 64

The box shows a photo of a Japanese train moving through some bushes. The actual game is far more exciting.

J.League 1999: Perfect Striker 2

The box features three J.League football players with glowing auroras behind them.
November 9, 2025 at 7:42 AM
PD Ultraman Battle Collection 64

The box has Ultraman in space with other characters behind him locked away in gachapon pods.
November 8, 2025 at 8:45 AM
Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber

The Japanese box is a rather muted, almost watercolour style image of two male soldiers, one female soldier and and old wizards standing on a hill.

The NA box is a logo of a dragon around a strange shape, with a map in the background and flames underneath.
November 7, 2025 at 9:32 AM
Quake II

the box shows a cyborg monster in a corridor with a large gun being pointed at it. The view is from the perspective of the person holding the gun.
November 6, 2025 at 9:32 AM
F-1 World Grand Prix II

The box shows two Formula One cars battling it out on a racetrack, with the big black border PAL box style.
November 5, 2025 at 2:03 PM
Monaco Grand Prix: Racing Simulation 2

The NA box features a yellow F1 car being followed by another, with everything except the yellow F1 car filtered red.

The Europe box has a different yellow F1 car with a blurry blue background of a race. The text logo is more stylised and 3D.

Rugrats: Scavenger Hunt

The box shows Tommy, Dill, Chucky and Angelica inside a temple. They're wearing adventurer clothing. The European version is called Treasure Hunt.

All Star Tennis 99

The NA box shows Michael Chang mid-swing during a tennis match.

The European box has a different shot of Michael Chang with a scanline pattern. There's also a box with Jana Novotná, the Wimbledon Champion of 1998.
October 29, 2025 at 11:08 AM
World Driver Championship

The box shows a yellow sports car with a spoiler and red flames (I think it's quite an ugly combination) on a white background.

The NA box advertises a sweepstakes while the Europe one has an "N64 Magazine Star Game" badge.
October 28, 2025 at 7:24 AM
Zool: Legend of the Beast Tamer

The box shows some rather lovely poster artwork depicting the main character (who looks like Tai from Digimon with a headband instead of goggles) and a load of monsters surrounding him. They all look amazed, apart form the one on top, which looks frightened.
October 27, 2025 at 8:22 AM
Mario Golf

The Japan box features a mostly out-of-frame and out-of-focus Mario swinging a club with the focus on his shadow.

The western box has Mario centre while swinging with all the regular Mario characters standing behind him and posing.

Shadowgate 64: Trials of the Four Towers

The box depicts a glowing eye with two snakes on either side of it. The eye is the top of a staff. There's a castle in the background. The same artwork is used across all regions.
October 25, 2025 at 7:03 AM
Fighting Force 64

The NA box has the four playable characters standing in front of a city with exploding cars. It brags about free tattoos and Tomb Raider.

The Europe has three of these characters standing in moody dark lighting with the villain standing in shadows behind them.
October 24, 2025 at 9:33 AM
Superman: The New Superman Adventures

It has a picture of Superman from the animated show pulling off his Clark Kent clothes to reveal his superman logo. The NA box art has no name and a "collectors edition" badge while the Europe version has a superman logo with the name.
October 23, 2025 at 8:15 AM
Last Legion UX

The box features a load of mechs standing around the logo. There's a lot of different colours and shapes.
October 22, 2025 at 7:26 AM
Star Wars Episode 1: Racer

The Japan box art is a full colour poster with Anakin and his podracer. NA has a greyed out Watto with a few pod racers below. Europe adds Anakin and Sebulba to the sides and is a full box image, not following the traditional PAL layout.

Hot Wheels Turbo Racing

Two fancy looking cars racing on a road with a loop-de-loop in it, going through a desert.
