We plan to watch 28 Years Later soon so what better time to refresh ourselves on the first two. I know the whole "people are the real monsters" trope is pretty played out nowadays but I remember it feeling pretty fresh for me when I first saw this one back in the day.

Enjoyed this one a lot. All I knew about it going in was that it was supposed to be gross, which it certainly was, but behind the bits of shockingly uncomfortable violence was a smartly paced and beautifully shot film.
