Your compassion is the reason we can save cats like Bean every single day!

Right now, in honor of #GivingTuesday, your gift to Alley Cat Allies will be TRIPLE-matched to go 3x as far for cats like Bean. The triple match ends at MIDNIGHT: secure.alleycat.org/page/90231/d...

Now that his 84-day FIP treatment course is done, we're going to keep a close eye on Bean to ensure he doesn't relapse. But since he spends his days lounging in comfort and playing with his best friend Queenie, we have a good feeling we have nothing to worry about.

But we knew Bean was determined to live, and we weren't about to give up. Week by week, Bean got back on his feet and gained weight...and a bit more of his eyesight. He's the type of cat to bond with people and other cats even while feeling his worst. He's sweet and tough in equal measure!

Bean, abandoned on the side of the road at not even a year old, was emaciated and covered in fleas when an Alley Cat Allies team member happened upon him. And before FIP was diagnosed and treatment began, he suffered a debilitating seizure that left him nearly blind.

FIP is fatal without the right treatment, and the recovery process needs to be closely monitored. But we have an incredible success rate with FIP care, and high hopes that Bean has nothing but bright days ahead! He deserves them, after all he's been through.

A community cat food bank we support in Atlantic County, New Jersey, feeds ~800 cats each day! And, we have big plans to support even more food banks to help families and caregivers continue to care for the cats who mean so much to them. We'll share more information soon!

We couldn't be happier for Sol, or more grateful to our supporters for making her new beginning possible. In a week all about being thankful, we certainly are!

Celeste, now named Sol, adjusted in no time to her new home! Her family says she's already settled into a routine of admiring the Christmas tree, watching shows with her new mom, and cuddling with her new human brother. And her condition doesn't slow down her zoomies or her playtime!

Although she recovered quickly under our care, Celeste needed a special adopter. She has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), a condition that affects her coordination and balance and gives her a signature "wobbly" walk. Luckily, her new family didn't miss a beat--they already have another cat with CH!

Remember: DO NOT bring community cats to animal shelters.

Many shelters lack humane policies and programs, especially for community cats who are generally not socialized to people or adoptable. There are multiple steps you can take to help community cats stay warm and safe in their outdoor homes.
