Most bonkers part of the story for me is that the Murdoch money was donated via News International (now News UK) - owner of The Times, The Sun, TalkTV etc.

In other words, a media company donating to a political pressure group.

And these same outlets have the gall to whinge about BBC “bias”

Intentionally making the whole country a miserable hellhole no one will want to come to even if they are fleeing war or torture seems bad

It's so bad I'm having nightmares about previous colleagues telling me how amazing they are because they've achieved running entire sub-agencies and I took a sideways move into something that no feels mildly dead ended. Actual nightmares.
