like utilities are included in our bill so its not really costing us any extra but like

had the not-so-genius idea to make mini stocking ornaments for everyone this year and what time to learn that a) my double stitches look terrible and b) i really struggle with duplicate stitching

idk there's something about taking an art form like knitting which is already devalued and turning it into a beat-the-clock kind of game in which people are still able to produce functional pieces in unrealistic time frames against arbitrary deadlines that doesn't sit right with me
