The irony is that he was also incredibly funny so he did have his following. But in his case, I'd definitely say that his basic character was very clear from the start. He fathered a child at 15 with a younger girl. The baby was put up for adoption. I still think about that.

There was a guy in my class at school, a general bully, obsessed with the Nazis & a sex-addicted, controlling misogynist. I saw another classmate a couple of years ago who had kept in touch with him & reported that he hadn't changed 1 iota & was now bullying Thai g/f. No surprise. Was his character
