I’ve walked past celebs or seen them in the street or in some areas and known who it was, but I’m not interrupting their day to get a photo when they’re just trying to get on with their day…

Idk this is just a weird ramble but I got thinking and walking after witnessing it

Like, I can be at a work event and have someone tell me they like my writing and I get awkward (I appreciate it) but if you’re attempting to have a normal time with a friend on a random Sunday and it happens?

Idk let ppl have a normal time

And I say this because while out now I walked past a musician (admittedly one I wasn’t familiar with) who had someone come up to them and say their name and start talking and ask for a photo and I’m not gonna say it’s a first time but randomly in the street I find it… weird?

Another reason I have upmost respect for anonymous musicians and artists who do it to create that degree of separation from the person and let the work do the talking, but for which I’m sure the potential loss of normalcy is also a noted factor

I think the only time I’ve gone and got a photo with a celebrity I’ve seen in such a scenario was when I was 10 encouraged by family to take a photo with the then-Sunderland manager we ran into in an airport going on holiday

Which is arguably worse at 7am but I was a kid

By which I mean, walking down a normal street and being all ‘oh you’re xx, can I have a photo?’

Even if you’re in a so-called quieter area but especially in a busy one

Because unless you see TV cameras actively pointed or smth they’re likely just trying to have a normal time so leave them be

(I’ve seen this same release sitting on the shelf for months and the closer to Christmas the more tempting it is)

But also, what a GAME!! If you were a neutral that’s probably the game of the season with how end-to-end, twisty-turny, and all over the pitch and high-drama it was

And we’re back to fourth??? What???

I mean, they seemed to feel like they had such injustice and there were one or two decisions they could maybe consider it but not to the extent the manager was acting like a toddler and the players followed suit

I feel like bringing the keeper up for that last throw like it’s a cup final showed it

Also I am not missing the weather of the UK as I watch this match, that rain is brutal!

As much as I wish I was at the game, this is the sort of game made by the weather as much as you suffer through it lol

I will say, clear penalty, deserved to be back in it, I'll take that

Though even beyond all this, I have to say, if I was a neutral, this is one hell of a game to watch

The second goal is a terrible one to concede, but it shows a big difference between the teams. We've been even, arguably better chances but haven't taken them, you have and deserve the lead

It's rough, we should not be 2-0 so quick at home
