for example: i've probably seen this text in other runs. but a few days ago, i met and was promptly killed by a man named saad amus. in the heat of the moment, i didn't register that saad could be a title, and definitely didn't realize i was fighting a man older than the sultanate itself.

finished the game last night and this is still true. it's honestly the ultimate 7/10, going from some of the coolest shit i've ever seen straight into almost three hours of incredibly tedious exposition, often to re-explain things that the player already knows.

Coming out of the ship at the beginning of Morrowind, knowing nothing about the game other than it was a well regarded RPG at the time and expecting traditional fantasy fare, only to see something so strange, so frightening, and so wonderful as this *bus stop* in the starting town.
