I saw by chance that from Feb 26 UK dual citizens MUST use their UK passports when entering and leaving the UK, so this evening I've had a mad rush applying for my kids first ever UK passport. I need to get original copies of all 4 grandparents' birth and marriage certificates! Stress stress stress

I wrapped up the Christmas presents for my daughter tonight. She's getting one enormous present (new bike) from all the family, and then there's 7 smaller gifts (books, clothes and arts/crafts supplies). It's so fucked up that this feel likes "not many presents"!

In September I volunteered to be on the EV (Elternvertretung, equivalent of PTA) at the kindergarten. Now dealing with Christmas presents and a leaving present for one Erzieher I sincerely regret this. Organising the presents is not the problem, organising and dealing with stroppy parents is.

We had no plans for today so I invited one of my daughters best friends over, whom we don't see that often, and it's basically like having the day off. I just had to set up a few arts and crafts and cook some pasta for lunch. Otherwise I'm here chilling and doing my own thing! Love it!

This morning, at 5:30am, having breakfast, after a night of no sleep following weeks/months of extreme sleep deprivation was the moment my 4.5 yo decides to ask the big question: how does a baby get in a woman's tummy?
