ICE policy says a person can be deemed a gang member if any ICE officer notes two "Gang Membership Identification Criteria." In Mr. Reyes Barrios' case, that appears to have been:
1) A tattoo modeled off the Real Madrid logo
2) A picture from social media of him throwing the horns.

First, he has a tattoo on his arm of a crown sitting atop a soccer ball with a rosary and the word "Dies." OHS alleges that this tattoo is proof of gang membership. In reality, he chose this tattoo, because it is similar to the logo for his favorite soccer team Real Madrid. See logo below.
