yeah on the one hand urls are case insensitive and things work fine. on the other hand idk case insensitivity tends to be rather troublesome to deal with in my experience

also after dealing with recent python packaging woes...... npm and related tools clear the python ecosystem I'm afraid. and the bar is kind of on the ground

the last time I had to do this I sat in front of my jbod and ran a disk scanning utility on each of my physical devices so I could see the disk light change lol. I have since bought a label maker
