Thinking about Pippi Longstocking and how after her dad falls overboard, the townspeople keep trying to coax her into going to an orphanage but Pippi is in mad denial that her dad is dead. The whole town is just like "Oh honey......" but then one day the dad just shows up completely fine. Not dead.

I'm glad the heat in my car works again but it's been so damn cold lately that the transmission and brake fluids are thickened if it's been sitting in the cold for long enough. Last night it was struggling to shift gears on the highway. Things sorted themselves out the longer I drove it but goddamn.
