Some DPs that have done great work in digital, and are not named Greig Fraser or Roger Deakins, in my opinion are: Michael Seresin, Jessica Lee Gagné, Steve Yedlin, and John Mathieson.

Digital cinematography CAN look really good, but it requires a really good DP. That being said I really think that movies of the last 10 or so years have looked better than ever on digital in part because DPs have cracked the code. I do think film looks best, but not always practical. 2/?

I haven't even seen the second movie. Movie 2 came out when (redacted) was born.
