I dunno. While terrible, I would argue that kind of viciousness is hardly unusual. I’ve been working as a contingent scholar 10 years and have witnessed shit that would make your toes curl. A lot of folks hounded out of the profession or at least hounded into silence by the right.

Due to my lack of desire to engage with opinion havers on the controversy who have neither read your book nor taken the time to understand the realities of academic labor conditions. Congrats on the book!
