I'd say the vast majority (at least in my social circle) fall into that bucket.

Of all the US headlines in 2025, I think this is the one I least expected...

Agree, museums need fewer smartphones. Last time I visited one (Moco Amsterdam), everyone was more focused on recording their visit and posing for selfies than just enjoying the art. I found it hugely distracting.

Yes, and Gmail telling me (while editing) that my email doesn’t have an attachment but contains a sentence that hints at an attachment is also quite useful.

Why do they do that...?
Also, example.com owners probably have a few stories to tell. 🙂

Why use both Polar and Stripe MP? It‘s both MoR and Polar probably builds on Stripe? Redundancy?

💯% this. I have a lot of respect for the author, but the post‘s phrasing read to me like „Have you finally gotten over your silly, uninformed critiques of AI and accepted that you‘re on the wrong side of history?“.

IMHO it's sad. I'm pretty firmly in the "no Gen AI please" team, but I expected a more cultured discussion on this platform. It's one of the reasons I migrated here from X (with no way back, deleted my account). I guess that's just the Internet these days.

Your experience sounds like it matches one of my main gripes with AI-coding… not building the mental model. I also believe that writing the code yourself is a down payment on future productivity mainly by making maintenance easier.
