I'll bet! I was astonished by how fast the tow trucks respond. I hope our country's anti-ballistic missile systems are as technologically advanced as whatever alert & response systems the tow truck drivers have.

Prior to this year, I thought lawyers were for filing claims against the other guy's insurance.

But if you need to file a six figure claim against your own UM/UIM policy, you probably want a personal injury attorney helping you out. Check your local billboards for listings.

Yes. I had six figures of UM/UIM in place. Didn't have any on the umbrella policy. Will bring UM/UIM into the mid six figures, either on the primary or the umbrella (depending on pricing) at my upcoming renewal.

We had six figures of UM/UIM coverage prior to the other driver crashing into my pregnant wife this year. I will be increasing that coverage at our next renewal.

We had tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills, and tens of thousands of dollars in property damage. Thankfully the combination of the other driver's policy, and our under-insured policy, will cover our losses.

California doubled its minimum policy limits at the start of 2025. I'm grateful they did, because we had a crash affecting our family, with the other driver at fault. That other driver had a minimum limit policy.

I’ve never seen someone levitate one leg to let the other come down inbounds like that.

Do you have books on the coffee table that you did not pick, cannot read, and cannot remove?

My take: grade inflation was always an inevitable byproduct of tuition price inflation, because the high cost of college raises the stakes of bad grades.

That's especially true at schools where you incur debt to attend, unlike the Ivies.

While getting my influenza and COVID vaccine last week at a major national pharmacy, THE PHARMACIST advised me against getting my infant vaccinated, due to autism “risk.” Like you, I chose not to make a scene.

I’ve always thought this was the top of the origination funnel for all the growth in private credit AUM.

Wish I could see that FA’s face when he learns he’s losing a commission he probably had at 90% likelihood to close in his CRM.

Thanks for the rec. I'm locked in for now, by my HOA, but as soon as I've got choice in the matter, I'll check out the Emporia.
