Just finished a game of the Zone where we got to paint little pictures at the start that became plot points later on. Luck of the draw meant the day was (almost, briefly) saved by a canonically sexy T-Rex

Got to play the new TMNT Unmatched coop game at PAX. It was a lot of fun, somewhere shy of Spriit Island in complexity, but still with some anti quarterbacking mechanics.
I do think they overstate how easy it would be to mix in with the competitive sets.

For a flagship line, I am a bit disappointed in Absolute Batman.
It feels very 90s. Over the top, violent, edgy. It goes out of his way to say he surgically never kills anyone but the violence belies the statement.
The writing tries but often misses. A punchline of much setup is "Batman AF"

I've never been a big wonder woman fan, but absolute wonder woman is a 10/10, no question about it. A delightful new direction on the character, and INCREDIBLY well written. I cried 5 times in 12 issues.
