Yes, for example, some sectors are inherently difficult to pivot away from the US. Geography matters in trade. We need to do something though. The situation is unsustainable.

You're spot on about the fairness aspect. As educators, we just need to keep looking for solutions and revising our approaches as we learn. And recognize that it adds an unfair burden to the students who don't misuse AI.

Yes, it's challenging for sure. I've had some success with impressing the message that they will get less out of the course. But that message won't work for everyone.

People need to understand the regulatory college/authority's role. They are established in law to protect the public. A licensed professional making transphobic statements undermines the profession's reputation among trans people and others. Thus, it's certainly something they need to address.

I think it would be useful to know how the answers are associated with different understanding on what are Canadian values. Also, the way Canada selects immigrants is part of our values. Further, numerous waves of immigrants played a strong role in what individuals would identify as Canadian values.

Agree. And the public needs better resources informing them on what is appropriate to put in chatbots vs. not. I fear too many people are typing-in the kind of information that really, really shouldn't be out in the world.

I don't think that's glass half empty. 1/5 people not thinking same sex couples should have the same rights as other couples is a problematic statistic.
