On the flip side, about half the time when you give a seminar it'll think you swam really slowly for that time, so it all balances out I guess!

These are great! Re: minutia (often math in my world), I like extra slides at the end with those extra details – not in the main talk, but on hand if needed. It helps especially for newer students who are nervous about remembering everything in the Q&A but don't want to bog down the main story.

I tag emails into folders but keep them in my inbox for a while (because I suffer a LOT from "out of sight, out of mind" otherwise). Then periodically I go through and archive to get them out of the inbox, but keep them in their specific folders.
