I help build communities because I believe deeply in communities.

Posting about that + tech, education, music, film, art, and...unfortunately...the Brooklyn Nets.
Feels very Nets to design a roster that optimizes for ball movement the year when all the most legit contenders are in the bottom half of passing in the league.

I guess when everyone else is zigging you have to zag?

Books? Movies? Courses? Only consumed in high doses by a small number of people.

Food? TV? Purchases? Shame attached to high consumption.

Rideshare destinations? Venmo transactions? Not connected to global culture. Only loosely connected to identity.

Hell yes this is exactly the kind of suggestion I was hoping for

I like CT and don't understand the animosity he attracts from some Nets fans, but this is the first week I wondered if we're better off waiving him than navigating his return. Not sure the burn we'd need to give him and the effect on the team is worth the paltry return we *might* get in a trade.

Totally agree with this, though the defensive scheme Jordi is committed to still confuses me. None of these guys besides Powell seem like good fits for it (Wolf least of all!). Though Demin has definitely looked a little better on that end than I expected.

I'm definitely in the minority of fans who actually likes how they're managing Drake and Demin minutes so far. I keep thinking about how I'd much rather see them play ~30 a night in February when I otherwise just want the season to be over.

I get the sense that Marks prefers a pick with a higher likelihood of reaching a lower ceiling than one with a higher ceiling but higher variability.

Traore breaks that mold a bit, but I also don't really understand what the vision for him is.
