So, turns out Antoine isn't the only Archie Sonic Reboot character to have their text strings altered to add card effects.
Both Bunnie Rabbot and Corral the Betta got similar treatment in last week's #SonicBlitz update.

If they have "all your info" allegedly, which I surmise they want you to believe includes banking info because of this threat, why on earth would they email you demanding to "make a deal".
