I'm not so sure what Windy's take is. He's mentioned it a few times about the Blazers having $40M in dead money this year (Ayton, Dame).

In the past, Dame talked about wishing he had guidance as a young guy from a vet leader like LMA.
I'm really looking forward to seeing him back in this locker room and what impact he'll have on Scoot, Shae and the other young dudes as a mentor. It'll be a fun storyline to watch this season.
