I'm so grateful we were able to have one final weekend with him. the meds truly gave him a second wind and for two days we all got to enjoy each other's company like normal. my heart is shattered, but I don't regret a single moment, and I'd like to believe he didn't either.

he was breathing heavily in the evening, so we took him back in and after a scan we discovered his lungs were absolutely full of cancer. it's honestly a miracle he held out for as long as he did without showing any major symptoms. he fought so damn hard.

zodd has much more energy today and even woke us up early this morning to skitter around the bedroom like usual

I'm just so relieved, man

I'm glad it sounds like he was living it up right until the end

zodd update, he's still quite tired from everything, but he hasn't drooled at all today and he voraciously gulped down three full packets of cat soup

forget two dinners this boy's getting a million dinners
