God to me: ok, these are your eyeballs. They allow you to sense the environment around you. Important for reading and learning too. But eventually, like all organs, they’ll start to wear out. So take good care of them.
Me: when do they usually wear out?
God: for you, around 3rd grade. Good luck!

Herbie Hancock’s Chamelion is a classic. No argument there. But my all time HH fave has got to be Hang Up Your Hang Ups.

When I buy a new laptop, it’s always a MacBook Pro. I might never compile code on it or run sophisticated music or video editing software on it. Heck, I’ll probably only ever browse the web, check email, and pay bills with it.

Last night I did a quick vide-coding session in Cursor for an iOS app that does currency exchange conversions. One of the key requirements in the PRD was to store the API key securely. First round of coding put the key in plain text right in the code.

So yeah, human oversight is definitely a thing.
