Congrats on the grant!

And does this ever resonate - “I'm probably about 80% done at this point, now just that other 20% that takes 80% of the time” 😅

Congrats and so well deserved!!

Standardizing UI would mean users could adopt mini apps much more quickly, with substantially less friction.

But it would add another layer to Antler, so there’s definitely trade offs.

This is very cool! Have you considered standardizing with a set of UI components?

It’s an area I’ve been exploring for a while (with little to nothing documented), but the idea rests in “JSON as UI”.

Slack does this well, and Microsoft AdaptiveCards has a variant too: adaptivecards.microsoft.com

At this rate, @pfrazee.com will be a certified scaled agile framework master in no time!

The timing on this article couldn’t be more perfect. I just had a conversation about this topic, today in work.

Thanks for sharing your perspective!

I was thinking the same thing - a co-op for chipping into a server like this - I think €5 a month to own 20% of that (fluctuating usage) would be an interesting model

Very cool. I was in IKEA during the week and they had 2 devices in the as-is section for $90 each.

I was sorely tempted, but realize I have no use for them 😅, but it reminded me that you had hacked them in one way or another!

That’s a great idea!

Not gonna lie, a gondola from North Van to Burnaby, or from the North Van waterfront to Vancouver waterfront would be dope.

Also, bring back the gondola around False Creek from Expo ‘86!

Tedious link between the two: Two people with the name Billie Jean

One is mentioned in a song likely to be sung in Mexico tonight - not MJ’s lover.

The other was on the video screen with a recorded speech as as executive of the PWHL - Billie Jean King.

Showed you where on a resort friends were, so if you lost them, you could tell if they’d gone down a ski hill before you, or if you were up on the gondola before them.

It was Recon Instruments, a Vancouver based startup.

Location was displayed on a map in your goggles. The goggles ran a fork of Android.

Location was realtime, updated every few seconds. Location was only shared with accounts you had accepted an invite from.

Gotta confess you blew my mind with this!

True bill!

You forgot .unwrap(), which is necessary to bring down the internet for a few hours.

😈 😅

I’m also using this idea myself on my ow thing, which is coming along slowly, nicely but not ready to show in anyway just yet!
November 20, 2025 at 4:26 AM
Cool! If I remember correctly somebody (maybe @anisota.net ) had an idea for making an allow list based on a User List that the main account created!

My primary question is: hey! What pen are you using?!
November 20, 2025 at 3:07 AM
Is this what they mean by antigravity? 😬
