I was surrounded by supportive staff who fostered quality research and academic rigor. The department has attracted excellent postgraduate researchers, many of whom now teach and research across the country.

My experience was Viva in November 2017 and published in summer 2020. The first year was mainly securing a publisher.

The similarities to the promise of GenAI are stark. No matter what promise GenAI is said to have, it is being used in nefarious ways and has extremely detrimental impacts. Like aviation, it holds promise to improve our lives. But those in power use it for ill and it has unintended consequences. [3]

Existing scholarship on U.S. aviation (rightly) linked the technology to the nation's imperial endeavours, and I sought to demonstrate that at the outset, many Americans had different hopes. Unfortunately, these Pan-American aviation inactivates were short lived and fizzled out by the 1920s. [2]
