Say what you will about Moonbeam, but he was an experienced steady hand that kept the worse impulses of the Democrats fully in control of the legislature. He understood that the government economic policy has to be counter cyclical.

And we have now progressed from data analysis to policy recommendations.

I told her that we'd calculate the cash value of her candy haul, that I'd ask her to raid her piggy bank and donate 1/3 the candy cash value to a local food bank, and that I'd add on a 5X match.

That’s despicable.

But on the other hand… surely, if you go back to 1933 or 1935 or even, perhaps, 1938… surely many, if not most, Germans would have similarly doubted that anything like that could come to pass there, either.

And they were wrong.

It could happen there, and I fear very much that it could happen here.
