Over 30 MPD officers and ICE agents doing their second checkpoint this week on Rhode Island Avenue this time between South Dakota Ave and Central Ave. I believe I’m hearing MPD ask questions about immigration status although it’s hard to hear from the sidewalk.

Over 30 MPD officers and ICE agents doing their second checkpoint this week on Rhode Island Avenue this time between South Dakota Ave and Central Ave. I believe I’m hearing MPD ask questions about immigration status although it’s hard to hear from the sidewalk.
MPD alongside masked unmarked law enforcement at Rhode Island Avenue and Eastern Avenue in NE DC. MPD said they are doing commercial vehicle inspections and did not identify which agency the feds are with but locals are making signs warning about ICE.
