Verdict on the new #WarOfTheWorlds: Everything about this movie felt like a fan film. Though I'm not sure what they're a fan of.

More of me putting way too much work into the SSHB blog when I don't have to, but damn did we have OPINIONS on season two of Discovery!
It's been way too fun thinking up fantasy casts for all the Star Trek series. Here's the last batch (for now!) with how I'd fix the myriad problems of Enterprise. The answer: with more hotties!

It's "Whoops, All Badasses" in my Voyager fantasy recast this week! I'm also the only one who didn't put Sigourney Weaver on my list, and yes, I'm thoroughly kicking myself about it.

There's just something about comedians that would really heighten all the recurring roles in #StarTrek #DeepSpaceNine. They really have the range. I'm especially excited about how I opted to fix Rom and Vic by going purely wholesome with it!
We would be remiss if we didn't include some of our favorite recurring characters from #StarTrek #DeepSpaceNine in our fantasy recasting game, largely showcasing the extreme versatility of comic actors! Check out Ames's cast!

I tried to yell "SHOOT!" while watching a hockey game, but my mouth temporarily misplaced the word and I ended up shouting "DOUCHE!" at the television, alone in my living room.

I would LOVE it if #StarTrek did more Short Treks. You don't need a big budget, two years' of special effects work, or over fifteen minutes to tell a great Trek story!
It's not QUITE time for Season 2 of "Discovery" yet. Rather we're taking a side trip to the first four "Short Treks" that were released on Paramount Plus (or was it still CBS All Access then?), a fun little experiment that should've had more legs. #startrek

It's finally happening. I'm coming around on British television because @julietabowlasoup.bsky.social got me into Taskmaster. There's nothing on American television that's this clever.

Finally got around to watching Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. My expectations were SO LOW after CGI Monkeys of the Crystal Skull, and I was pleasantly surprised! It felt more like getting back to those #IndianaJones action-adventure roots.
Still too many tiny car chases though.
