That condescending "You're a literal child who deserves a spanking" message is 95% of the reason I probably won't make it past the trial. Irrational as that is, I get genuinely mad every time I see it.

Like: I spent three of the last seven hours in a giant metal tube listening to a baby scream, and I think Aer Lingus owes me at least as much money as I spent on my vasectomy.

On a recent podcast episode, @edzitron.com referred to these sorts of writers as "Tech stenographers" rather than journalists, and I thought that was just such a perfect descriptor.
