Indeed. I didn’t get into funding in the thread but we are mostly funded at a city level and communities can leave at any time, so providing service to far flung low density areas is a political requirement at times

Generally yes we’re moving towards larger stop spacing. Because we are overall a low ridership system this isn’t super important from a schedule perspective I’m glad we’re moving towards best practices anyways
