Y12 braved wind and rain to collect samples and measure beach profiles at Chesil Beach this week. They completed a sand dune transect beneath a rainbow at Studland Bay, examined coastal protection in wet Swanage and enjoyed blue skies, big waves and stunning scenery at Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove.

Year 12 Politics students had a great day in London visiting Parliament and the Supreme Court. The highlight was managing to get in the viewing gallery to watch the House of Commons in session – an unforgettable experience seeing politics in action.

Congrats to our 6th form netballers who participated in their South Warks tournament yesterday afternoon. A team were runners up and B team came 4th (just missed out on 3rd by one goal). All were a credit to the school.

Our newly appointed Health Impact Leads took part in their first training session yesterday alongside students from across the Alliance. They shared ideas on shaping the PSHE curriculum, worked on developing a public health awareness campaign, and explored what makes an effective leader.

Y10 Food & Nutrition students became ‘doctors’ today, specialising in diet-related diseases. Working in MDTs, they explored definitions, symptoms, causes, effects, prevention and treatment. Fantastic teamwork, confident presentations and thoughtful answers to probing questions!

No water, no worries. The Year 10 boys made waves at KIRC—outpulling powerhouse rowing schools with 1st and 3rd in the 5-minute event, 2nd, 4th and 5th over 500m, and an incredible relay finish for 2nd, just 5 metres short. Big performances.
