When I read Craig's article I realized one of the main reasons I choose one app over another is how quickly it lets me access data or complete the task I opened it for.

I believe we as users need to demand this.

5/ "Fast Software, the Best Software" by Craig Mod

With AI-driven "enshittification" of software, fast software is becoming rare, despite our hardware being 20 times more powerful than a decade ago.

3/ Vizi Andrei's newsletter

Vizi inspires me to do things with more care, take life less seriously, and step away from the numbers. We live like slaves tied to work, leaving our souls behind along the way.

Reading him helps me reconnect with that part of myself.

2/ Photos by Alex Kittoe and Samantha Cavet

My two favorite photographers this year.

Alex's photos make me want to live in the US every single day.

Samantha's collection "A Quiet Life" is simply beautiful. And you inspire me to take pictures of flowers.

1/ Alex West's books.

Alex shares how he found, launched, and grew Cyberleads to $1M a year. He does not sell dreams. He does not give advice. He just tells his story as raw as he can. I read the 7 books in 2 days, and waiting for the 8th.

Of course, I don't believe in all that "follow your passion" bullshit either. But work should improve your life in some way.

If you neglect your health or your social life for a "career", one day it will be too late and you'll realise you've wasted your life.

I'm not saying that work isn't important. But it shouldn't be the beginning and the end of our days. It should become a driving force that makes life more interesting and richer, in line with our nature, which is basically to create and be curious.

Do it! With the new 3.7 versions, Claude is getting much better at thinking before he makes a mess (although he still makes a mess sometimes). But I think little by little he is doing a great job at reasoning why he is doing it and understanding your context first.

Version 3.7 is really good. It's really a huge step forward compared to what was before.
