Agreed. That is an amazing addition, especially along a route that has claimed at least one life. Sadly, the rail underpass east of Weston Rd remains, and without a plan of action in place.

Sadly, the point that escapes attention is that the faster motorists travel, the greater the stopping distances required between cars -- thus, hwys accommodate less people. Alberta's Transport Minister should know better but, as in Ontario, staff experts are being ignored. The price will be high.

Right on! We don't build bike lanes because cycling is dangerous; we build them because cars are dangerous to all other road users.
