Cute very furry-looking product packaging. One of Dex's co-workers brought in office snacks, it was this, popcorn that caught Dex's eye. He brought it home to show me. I've never heard or seen this brand, apparently, it's from Old Mexico.

First thing i have actually drawn in over 3 years. My fursona, Al Bear. I don’t know how to draw, and always use scrap paper as not to waste clean, good paper. Better than nothing or AI right?

Did anyone ever use these silly 90's things? Minidisc, before recordable CD's? I got suckered into them in 96 but I never liked them. I found this one in a box of junk, a survivor, I threw mine away in 05' the survivor sold for this. I'll put my trash there to see what happens 🐻 tinyurl.com/4ymj9fev

Al Bear lives up to his name/reputation. This morning's Wal*Mart shopping trip. Got a *little* more than was on the list. A heck of a lot of good sales today! I can't pass up sales, that's when I love to stock up. Dex tried to stop me but couldn't. 😉 And a themed piece by @bimbeaver27.bsky.social 🐻

I was looking for something in my desk drawer and I found this, my old Sony Micro Vault USB flash drive with a friggin huge capacity of 64 megabytes! I bought it in 2001 and I remember paying $89.99 for it. With inflation $89.99 in 2001 is worth $164.15 today. Crazy huh? and 64 MB. Was impressive.

We hit our 3rd County fair for the 2025 fair season. First was Los Angeles, 2nd Orange, South of L.A. and today Ventura North of L.A. The temperature was 67°F or 19.44 Cesium, yes, I said Cesium! And this on August 2nd cool temperature by the sea. Look at that fog at 11:55 AM in freaking August 2nd!

OK honest question. What are the odds/probability of this happening? I got the nickel on the right last week as change. and the nickel on the right yesterday, from the same small local store. The first thing I noticed when I got them both was the worn out back. I thought oh! That's an old one. 1947.

This has got to be one of the wackiest old tymey cars ever! 1922 Graham Daytona. 3-seater. 2 in the main body and one seat that pulled out like a drawer behind the passenger! That is just so friggin' laughably absurd! And no seat belts either, who would want that junk in the early 20s here?

2 WK update. The plate and screws look gnarlier than I expected! Big heavy splint came off, now moved onto a support boot. It has been an awful 3+ weeks since I have been unable to do anything in the house. I feel so useless. Dr said the operation looks good. I asked ChatGTP to create a picture.

Surgery went fast! Checked in at 6 A. out at 12 P. Picture looks worse than it is. surgery was 3 hr. recovery 2½ h. will continue to have to use crutches and absolutely keep weight off that foot. It hurts a bit on the inside ankle. But it's to be expected. Recovery may be as long as 6 months! 😯, 😞

Interesting things that I saw today. And the hairy arm sticking out of the car holding a cigarette, you see that mostly in Glendale, but we are Glendale-adjacent. 😉

Our 6 days of our mini-vacation ends tomorrow morning. Very nice city. It’s funny seeing the locals dressed in heavy winter clothes in only 40°F/4.4°C and me being from LA enjoying every bit of it walking around in my shorts and polo shirts. 🐻 I have a feeling that @esopus.bsky.social may like this.
