I am a photographer of the lovely island I live on and of news and events. Sometimes I take travel pictures, but seeing without the lens is often better. I'm a retired psychiatric nurse - the world today is fascinating. I'm always trying to learn new info.

Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, said this week that the threat of political "retaliation is real" under President Donald Trump as she expressed concerns about the administration's policies.

"We are all afraid," Murkowski said. After pausing for a time, she continued, "It’s quite a statement.”

To mess with Trump's image, find political cartons you can use. There are some great ones out there.

Sometimes it is important to take a deep breath, let it out slowly and just relax. I have good role models, Tinkerbell and Edward.

I couldn't agree more. My two little dogs keep my mood uplifted. And remind me to stay in the moment and to relax. They teach us unconditional love.

Thank you. I just subscribed. Hope more people will support your efforts. $5 for the first year is a drop in the bucket unless many people will do the same.

Paine argued that America should be not just a revolt against taxation but a demand for independence. He put this idea into Common Sense in January 10, 1776. More than any other single publication, Common Sense paved the way for the Declaration of Independence, unanimously ratified on July 4, 1776

I worked for a number of years as a psych nurse for the VA in a variety of locations. This is hideous and will certainly lead to increased deaths. It is often very difficult to encourage people to seek help. Hotlines are a necessity.

My father fought to send hell back where it belongs. Don’t threaten any citizen of this country. Hell can always be defeated.

You Go Girl. My delegate to congress is Congress Women Stacey Plaskett, Democrat. She fights for the United States Virgin Islands and for all the rest of you too. Although she can’t vote, she does sit on numerous important committees. Impeachment Manager! Class Act!
