Animated film, The Point. NOTHING like Disney, it's simplicity made the art of animation more approachable for me, and Nilsson's soundtrack was perfection.
Animated short was Ryan Larkin's Walking. As a teen, it was mind blowing, beautiful, and inspiring. Also, top notch music.

Bark's art was the best! His artwork made the pages of a comic book come alive. Even as a stupid 10 year old, I recognized quality art over crap. I could tell a lot of other artists put it on cruise control or just didn't care because it "was only for kids."
