It still might be worth asking if they have alternative solutions for what you're dealing with now. They're incentivized to find ways to keep folks on their meds one way or another, because that's how they make money.

I know this is a band-aid, but have you tried calling Abbvie about the meds you get from them (humira)? I know it's a big evil company, but it also seemed like they had a few different ways of getting people meds based on changing financial situations.

That's horrible, I'm so sorry. Healthcare in this country is absolutely evil.

Crap, I'm so sorry, Kelly. Fwiw, I got swapped from Humira to one of the biosimilars (adalimumab-rvyk) and it's been going okay so far--I don't know if that's an option for you, but I wanted to mention it just in case it helps. The idea of losing biologic access entirely is so horrible.

As someone who has gotten QUITE A FEW death threats over the years, if you start having "it was a joke" as a viable defense of them you IMMEDIATELY lose any ability to actually regulate or cut down on them because no one can prove what is and is not a joke properly
