It makes no sense, Rodgers was being paid about half what McKenna earns. Do Celtic have £10m to spend? £5m to buy him out and then match his wages? If he wanted to to leave, why would he turn down Brighton and Chelsea and then drop down to Scottish football?

I would suggest that #ITFC could argue that the 3 points should actually be awarded to Ipswich as Blackburn were unable to provide a playable pitch? Burnley and Bolton seemed to manage it?

I always understood it to be an Aussie invention, see also the stubby holder and pavlova. Of course New Zealanders will be far too polite to make it an international diplomatic issue.

In my opinion yes. Good player but not a team player or consistent enough. He left PSG and they were better without him.

It’s a trend which many people have noticed. Media obsession with star players who don’t back up the hype with final product. The likes of Mbappe always get the headlines.

Decent points but I do think letting Chaplin leave is a strange move (unless he pushed for it) given he has been getting game time and clearly has the quality to play at a top championship team.
