Life, love and Leeds United

"Real peace isn't just the absence of conflict. It's the presence of justice."

President James Marshall - Air Force One
Well you do you, but when you've got little to spend on food you might be rather less sentimental.

I think I speak for many of us when I say, oh Fuck Off.

He changed the way I think about buckets.
December 10, 2025 at 9:49 PM
Doesn't everybody?
December 10, 2025 at 9:43 PM
Yeah she's a liar.

But what a mouth!

I think all young very right-wing, selfish little sh*ts actually HAVE been obsessed by Hitler.

The extrapolation to every schoolboy is symptomatic of their inability to be empathetic or imaginative enough to imagine the world through the eyes of anyone else.

It's why they are the way they are.

As a Leeds United fan, all I can say is... oh no.
December 10, 2025 at 8:46 PM
Best one for ages!

Loved it.
December 10, 2025 at 8:44 PM
Yes. Yes it does.
December 9, 2025 at 10:54 PM
I don't think so. As things stand I don't even think both Foden and Palmer go.

A lot has to change for DCL to get a sniff.

Amorim has the same talent Ollie (or whatever) and Pound Shop Pep had.

Just when they are going to sack him, he wins!

It's genius. They'll come triumphantly mid-table I predict.
December 8, 2025 at 9:36 PM
Well if it's any consolation, I feel exactly the same myself.

Of course I'll watch the damn thing, but Infantino is a craven ahole.

He makes Blatter look like a decent old cove, and who would have thought that possible? I actually almost miss him.

That and ketchup obvs.

I assume this was dashed off at some stage during the footage of Rio Ferdinand and the school kids 😆

As for FIFA's 'Annual Peace Prize', with the gold trophy of zombie hands clawing at a ravaged Earth, I had to laugh when Jonathan Pierce wondered aloud if they'd bother to award one next year.
December 8, 2025 at 1:48 PM
I back Marcelo to do Ok. They may lose to Spain but they will get out of the group. I hope!
December 8, 2025 at 1:00 PM
He's totally revolting isn't he.
December 8, 2025 at 12:57 PM
I know his defending is sometimes questioned, but for my money he's the best left back we've had since Ian Harte.

In fact, he may be the only left back we've had since Ian Harte...

But he's good. Now. How are your freekicks Gabi?

A mention would have been nice, but the truth is, it's an unforgiving business. They only care if you're successful.

The beauty of sport, unless they eventually do float off into a super-league (and they won't), is that there's no God given right for any team to be successful forever.
December 7, 2025 at 8:08 PM
In gematria DCL is 4+3+12.

As 12 is 1+2 = 3.

So the real answer is 4+3+3 = 10.

Everyone knows that!
December 7, 2025 at 10:07 AM
You can't let the dressing room dictate who the boss is. Man United has done that for a decade and it's not really panned out well has it.

Truth is, you should have sold Salah for a fortune to the Saudis in the off season. Everyone knows it. Even he does.
December 7, 2025 at 9:50 AM
I agree Farke is learning on the job.

I like the thought that we've got a couple of systems we can switch to.

I think the template for the rest of the season has been set now. Bijol coming on or off will be the signal.
December 7, 2025 at 9:40 AM
We're all in the same boat. I was shouting 'get it in the box' at Piroe, because a winner would have been famous.

But even whilst he hung on, part of me was imagining them running towards an undefended goal.
December 7, 2025 at 9:37 AM
He can be very negative, so much so, I can only watch after a good result. He wanted Farke out after promotion and then pretended he didn't.

Content is hard though, and having strong opinions, even when the truth is more nuanced, drives engagement. His stridency might not entirely be his fault.
