Ang Lee's masterpiece holds up 25 years later. The Academy's Janet Yang, who programmed Chinese Oscar submissions at the Academy Museum, did a great Q & A with Lee & Zhang Ziyi, who was 23 at the time. For all the soaring martial arts, the romance of Michelle Yeoh and Chow Yun Fat centers the film.
