It's almost like these fandoms haven't even watched any of the 60s or 80s/90s Star Trek, or at least not understood the underlying political messages.

Just a detail on the side, but what I find fascinating is how 3 completely distinct types of organisms, namely vertebrates, fungi and plants, evolved to produce amylase enzymes in order to break down starch. I think that's a wonderful example of convergent evolution.

AFAIK, Crew Republic is now (at least partially) owned by Bitburger. They gave up the brewery in early 2024, and brewing was moved to Bitburger's pilot kit.
