While the ttrpg is probably best enjoyed with knowledge of the setting, I think it's bombastic energy may still be engaging to newcomers.

Honorable mentions go to Commando: Napalm, Enforcer: Warhead, and Law Bringer: Weaponised Wench.

Each has unique mechanics that feel cohesive with the setting.

Had to think about this one a lot and I think I'd probably give a different answer depending on the day, as it's so close.

Mechromancer: Transhuman Technophile let had some really cool ideas (excuse the pun) and the ability of merging with your robot was fun to work in.

Two scenarios.
1) the mercs die because they're not as potent as the party so the party has to do it.
2) the mercs succeed and keep everything for themselves, and hire the party to do the next dungeon.

While you can use whatever terrain you want in casual settings, the game balance almost requires super dense terrain these days if you don't want to get tabled turn 1.
