'the more commonly assumed Scottish Gaelic derivation' WTAF? Nobody claims Glaschu is the *root* of Glaschu. It IS however the only Celtic form of the place name in actual use. But sure, we'll go with something that has wonky grammar and looks the *everyone* with 2 words of Gaelic like a type 😱

Shoutout to the 難查字表 in this context 😉 I think it boils down to a fairly ad-hoc historical process of semantic disambiguation using radicals which was later shoehorned into a sorting system - in which case allowing multiple radicals just wouldn't make sense. It'd be like listing 'the' under T and TH
