Life is hard and the world is on fire but then your dog wakes you up to pee at 5am and you see the most amazing early morning sky with shooting stars so you text your 19 year old who you know has been awake all night and the two of you experience seeing shooting stars for the first time together.

This year, I have canceled @amazonprime.bsky.social, @paramountplusbr.bsky.social, and now Disney+. It may be a drop in the bucket for them, but I can’t support streaming services that capitulate and censor free speech.

We took our dog Newton “swimming” to exercise his legs last weekend and are still talking about it. We aren’t sure if he enjoyed it but we did!

Even though it’s 2 degrees outside, I will never again complain about living somewhere where the air hurts my face. Grateful to live in a state that I know will protect the rights of its citizens, especially those targeted by the new administration.
