Finally, I went one step further and used @Kling_AI to create a small animation of someone inspecting the PCB. The scale is a bit off but it is hard to tell this isn't real.

Next I tried to teach PCB layout design in KiCad to 10 year olds (challenge accepted!). We designed a simple keyring with red LEDs starting from a drawing on paper. I used ChatGPT to obtain a realistic picture of the board to show them how it would look.

I used @Polycam3D to obtain a rough 3D model of the hardware that I could import into blender to overlay my 3D design. This way I was able to spot obvious problems and tweak the design. This worked miracles and the 1st print was spot on.
