That's fair ... none of what I said should be interpreted to say that I will be voting Democrat for the rest of my life..I have been a no official party registered voter my entire voting adult life so no one automatically gets my votes.

There is no absolution for any of them no matter how they break from him now. They are un-American unserious individuals the entire lot of them right on down to the local dogcatcher who still identifies as a "republican" ... there is no coming back from this for any of them. IMO of course.

i think, As drudge points out today, they are probably close to being done with "project blackout" of any and all mention of trump in these files...then he will happily release the files with that big fucking smirk on his face

That this was all because greedy insurance companies were jacking their prices up and the Democrats position here was a big nothing Burger. Insurance companies are greedy and jack their prices up for sure but these subsidies keep the increases manageable for millions of people.

I had heard a Maga GOP clap back talking point being that the loss of these extended subsidies would only account for 3% of the increases folks would face. The argument being the Democrats should reopen the government because this fight will not help keep people's premiums from rising.
