All the more reason why it's stupid to be against using SNAP benefits to buy fast food, especially if you live in a food desert.

This is all rooted in a fundamental misunderstanding of the difference between food insecurity and hunger, which are used interchangeably but are not the same thing.

The maddening idiocy of being against DIVERSITY, equity and inclusion AND "woke monoculture".

Don't they understand that both of those things can't exist at the same time? Diversity and "monoculture" are opposites.

The Dunning-Kruger presidency strikes again.

Let's put it this way:

Ivanka Trump, Alina Habba, Karoline Leavitt, Kristi Noem, Hope Hicks...the list goes on.

He does have a type.

So you're saying Elon Musk is already in the clubhouse having finished his round and RFK Jr. is still on the front 9? Ok, I can see that.

Side note: imagine considering this question and Kash Patel isn't even in the running for the top 5 even though he's apparently gonna be the first person fired.

Mark Kelly's lawyer right now:

You're right, but unfortunately we've seen equally compelling evidence of many equally obvious things and somehow people don't come to the obvious conclusion in those instances either.

Maybe the cultish adulation is what's keeping him alive and they only hold Cabinet meetings when they think he's on the brink of death and the remedy has been increasingly less effective over time because he's built up a tolerance to the medication.

He does crave attention, after all.

1) Didn't he start using the word "affordability" incessantly in his social media posts after the GOP got trounced on Election Day?

2) If the Democrats had any sense, they wouldn't air a single ad for any candidate in the midterms that didn't include this clip.
Trump Crowns Himself 'THE AFFORDABILITY PRESIDENT' In Rant About Midterms
The MAGA leader has repeatedly dismissed affordability as a non-issue, only to claim Saturday that his efforts will help Republicans win the 2026 midterms.

Automatic W for loathing AI. I hate AI almost as much as I hate reality TV. And that's saying something.

No problem. It's incredibly shortsighted to denigrate SNAP recipients for using their benefits to buy fast food when there are legitimate circumstances under which folks need to do so, particularly when folks are unhoused or live in food deserts.

Then again, we're talking about Joni Ernst here.

I have always wondered why this guy wasn't a head coach sooner. His track record of recruiting wide receivers is unmatched, and he has a long track record of developing them into 1st-round picks.

They do exist in some places. For example, I just picked one county in New York State, which has the Restaurant Meals Program.

The list of eligible restaurants includes 12 McDonald's, a Burger King, 3 Dallas BBQ's, and 2 Popeyes. And that's just Manhattan.

This is incorrect. In some states, certain SNAP recipients can qualify for programs that allow them to use their SNAP benefits to buy hot food at participating restaurants.

For example, New York State has the Restaurant Meals Program.

RMP is an initiative that allows certain SNAP households to use their benefits to buy discounted meals from authorized restaurants.

When he loses, he'll spend the next 2 years trying to convince idiots that the election was rigged.

I wish they would've started doing this sooner, but I understand why they haven't in light of there being such a thing as Bobby Bonilla Day.

Valid, but by that logic, Elon Musk is responsible for many more dead babies.

Why does it feel like this is a question directly from Drake?
December 3, 2025 at 6:39 PM
This would make sense if 2 of their biggest rivals weren't USC and Michigan, and if they didn't win a strong ACC the one year they actually were in a conference.

I saw this, and this would be the ideal situation. But I’ve also seen that the Mets and Edwin Diaz are at a “sticking point”, and that he wants 5 years and $100 million.

He deserves that much, but I worry about how much a deal like that limits the Mets’ ability to improve other parts of the team.
