Other stories would probably have that level of punishment but they carried it between more pages than I thought it would especially for "children". But it's so cool gosh dang it. Finally a big moment for Baby Blue Eyes and Mizuho's art doesn't miss. Excellent chapter looking forward to part 2.

The funnier thing about the tropes and more so the gags is they have also changed with time and phased out stuff that isn't with the times. Over expressiveness and word play remain king in my book.

Between that and not keeping it the way you sorted from last time. And then the menuing for your skills too. My general take is lumina should've been per character so if you want the character built a specific way you're actually putting effort into it with the Pictos you equip.

It really only got a 7/10 from me personally because it hit the cinematic beats. As an RPG it felt incredibly shallow and unrefined. No in-game mini map for dungeons or side quest tracking. Pictos and Lumina being extremely broken and a lack of visible levels for enemies in battle.

I appreciate the framing of this because I also feel like it culturally was like oh this is it 10/10 RPGs are back from so many people. Its just a good game with le film cinematics. That's why it sold it's film rights when it was barely out. But the RPG genre has never stopped on the AA front.
